Men's Health Month 2018

November will again be the time for a series of health forums.  Just received :

From Tom Carroll, Secretary of WHAM, the following announcement on this year's program :-

The committee of the Wingecarribee Health Association for Men Inc. (WHAM INC) has been busy preparing a new look for this year’s November presentations.

After four years and strong support and encouragement from the local medical community WHAM Inc has decided to give the local specialists a rest and allow the local branches of some organisations to talk to our community.

This year WHAM will be utilising the local offices of the NDIS and Lifeline to explain their services. Aged Care is topical, and the advocacy group Seniors Rights Services will explain how to access Aged Care services. And finally, a local couple on behalf of the Stroke Foundation will describe their experience with suffering a stroke.

This will be an opportunity to hear from local people on how we can help ourselves to lead a more healthy and productive life.

Speakers will have time to take questions and light refreshments will be available.

The change for this year is that the talks will take place on four Monday nights in November at the auditorium at St. Jude’s Anglican Church at 34 Bendooley St Bowral, a very beautiful space. Remember to spread the word, bring along a friend and women are especially welcome.

All the details that you will need are set out in the two flyers below :
